American AloeArt in Bloom

The Museum of Art and Archaeology annually showcases a variety of fresh-cut floral arrangements by various mid-Missouri florists and garden clubs. Each chooses artwork from the Museum’s collections that inspires their creative designs. Plan to experience this special spring weekend that combines the beauty of fine art and artifacts with the majestic art of nature in bloom.

Art in Bloom 2009

Friday - Sunday, March 13 - 15, 2009

Experience Art and Flowers in a New Way! Mid-Missouri Florists will design and create fresh-cut floral creations inspired by the artwork and artifacts found throughout the Museum of Art and Archaeology’s extensive collections. MU’s Textile and Apparel Management Department also will display costumes with floral themes from their Missouri Historic Costume and Textile Collection. Art in Bloom is sponsored by Museum Associates and is FREE and open to the public.
