Parking and Directions
University Parking (see University maps for directions):
- Turner Parking Garage on Turner Avenue with metered parking on the third level.
- Hitt Street Parking Garage on Hitt Street between Elm Street and University Avenue; metered or $2.50/day permit.
- Metered parking lot (WC-14) across from the School of Journalism off Ninth Street
- Temporary parking permits available for $2.50/day from Parking and Transportation Services in the Turner Parking Garage; phone: 573-882-4568.
Bus Parking: Busses may park temporarily just south of the stop sign on Ninth Street outside the Museum. For more options for bus parking, call Bus Parking Information at 573-882-4568.
Metered parking on Ninth Street and near downtown is available. A caveat: These spaces are highly desirable and may not be available when you visit.
Please note: The lot behind the Museum is not available, at any time, without a Museum parking permit from our security staff. These permits are not given to the general public.
