Pre-School Programs

Museums are for everyone! Although to some people, preschool age children may seem too young to appreciate a museum experience, a visit to a museum is appropriate at any age. Preschoolers can engage in appreciating art work at a museum, but can also develop a comfort level on their visit that will cause them to desire to return again, as well as explore other museums. Parents or adults who accompany these budding art appreciators can reinforce ideas that were introduced at the museum after the visit.

Education programs are designed for children of all ages and target different aspects of the collection. An example of a pre-school programs is:

Go on a treasure hunt to find animals on different artworks in the Museum’s galleries.

The Museum of Art and Archaeology reserves the right to cancel events due to poor weather, low registration, or other unforeseen events. Please provide a contact number when registering for educational programs in order to be notified promptly
