The Museum of Art and Archaeology annually showcases a variety of fresh-cut floral arrangements by various mid-Missouri florists and garden clubs. Each chooses artwork from the Museum’s collections that inspires their creative designs. Plan to experience this special spring weekend that combines the beauty of fine art and artifacts with the majestic art of nature in bloom.

Experience art and flowers in a fresh way! Mid-Missouri florists design and create fresh-cut floral creations inspired by the artwork and artifacts found throughout the Museum of Art and Archaeology’s extensive collections. Art in Bloom is sponsored by Museum Associates and is FREE and open to the public.

Mid-Missouri florists celebrate the Museum’s artwork with their inspired floral designs.
Museum Associates Opening Reception: 5:30 p.m., Friday, March 18, Cast Gallery, Pickard Hall
Opens to the General Public: 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 18

March 19, 2011 - Saturday - open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Art in Bloom for Kids
(Suitable for grades K –8)
1:00 - 3:30pm, Cast Gallery
Free and open to the public. Pre-registration is suggested by calling 573-882-3591.
