Lent by the Finley Collection of Russian Art

A selection of 26 works dating from the second half of the twentieth century highlighted impressionist painting by 20 Russian artists. The exhibition included portraits of women and men, sensitive renderings of children at play, images of industrial labor and agricultural projects, and exquisite still lifes. Landscapes and seascapes were also included. The exhibition was made possible through loans from The Finley Collection of Russian Art, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Garren Gallery, McDonald, Tenn; and Jones Fine Art & Antiques, Maysville, Ky.
