This exhibition celebrated the diversity of printmakers, printing techniques, and media in graphic art over the past five hundred years. European and American works, as well as several nineteenth- and twentieth-century Japanese prints, were exhibited. The exhibition also examined the development of printing techniques. Loans from Stephens College, Columbia, and the Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art at Central Methodist College, Fayette, Mo., were included, together with works from the permanent collection.
