Engraved Grave Stele (of Bakamun?)Engraved Grave Stele (of Bakamun?)

In the upper register of the stele, deities escort the deceased to the underworld on a boat. The figure on the far right side is the patron, possibly a priest named Bakamun. Beside him, his wife carries the crown of Upper Egypt and a staff, the accoutrements of the god Osiris. The inscription identifies the deceased and praises Osiris and Isis.
