Dresser advertisementJoin us for a free screening of The Dresser (1983) in 106 Lefevre Hall. Sponsored by the Daniel Boone Regional Library in connection with the One-Read selection, Station Eleven!

Directed by Peter Yates
Starring Tom Courtenay and Albert Finney

The Dresser, like this year's One Read selection, focuses on a touring Shakespearean theater troupe, but during WWII. The story involves a backstage hand, the dresser, devoted to the brilliant but tyrannical head of the company. He supports the deteriorating star as the company struggles to carry on during the London blitz.
