Art of the Book Club: Brown Bag–Panel discussion

The Museum of Art & Archaeology Art of the Book club will host a brown-bag luncheon about the Museum’s Healing Arts program on Monday, May 4 from noon til 1pm in Room 704, Mizzou North. The brown-bag luncheon is being held in conjunction with Art of the Book club discussions of The Madonnas of Leningrad by Debra Dean. Representatives of the Museum’s Healing Arts program, which uses Museum artwork to engage Alzheimer’s patients,  will talk about the purpose and development of the program while Dr. George (Brick) Johnstone, MU Professor of Health Psychology, will offer additional perspective on Healing Arts by discussing his approach to using the arts in understanding human psychology.
