Etruscan Pottery PosterAlthough our knowledge of the ancient Etruscans is limited, it has been much enhanced through study of their material remains. Ancient pottery is an essential diagnostic tool in archaeology, and this exhibit examines what the Museum’s collection of Etruscan pottery tells us about this fascinating yet somewhat mysterious culture.

Museum Galleries are CLOSED.
The Museum is preparing to move to a new location at the lower east level of Ellis Library in the center of the MU campus.
Reopening date is as yet unknown. It is hope that the galleries will be open by Spring/Summer 2022.
