This volume documents the first systematic investigation of a Roman Palestinian glass factory. A joint expedition of the Corning Museum of Glass and the University of Missouri began work in 1964 on the site of Jalame, not far from Haifa. Thousands of glass vessel fragments and tons of glass waste, the remains of the glass furnace, masses of pottery, lamps, coins, and other objects are published in this volume. 378 pages, 13 b&w and 4 color plates, plans and line drawings
