The largest of the MA&A’s collections consists of more than 5,000 objects from the ancient Mediterranean and the Near East. These include objects from the Graeco-Roman world, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, and Egypt. Strengths include pottery and glass vessels, terracotta and bronze figurines, and stone sculpture. Both works of art and utilitarian objects are significantly represented.
