The MA&A’s collection of artworks created between 1980 and the present reflects the culturally diverse and eclectic nature of contemporary art. The artists represented in the collection experiment with new technologies and media, address complex socio-political issues, or explore cultural or personal identities. Highlights include a sculpture by video artist Nam June Paik and a large collection of Cuban artist books from Ediciones Vigía.
