Museum Galleries are CLOSED as the Museum prepares to move to a new location in the lower east level of Ellis Library in the center of the MU campus.

A reopening date is as yet unknown, but it is hoped that the galleries will reopen in the Spring/Summer of 2022.

Schedule a Tour (Guided Tours Currently Unavailable)

The Museum provides tours for all audiences from pre-schoolers to adults. We tailor tours to the needs of each audience. Docent-led tours are available and may be scheduled with a two-week notice prior to your visit. Please complete the tour request email by contacting the Museum Educator or by calling 573-882-5076.

Autism Friendly

The Museum of Art and Archaeology and the Museum of Anthropology are designated an "Autism Friendly Business" by the MU Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
